Supplier of the Year 2025

The Natural Health Products NZ Supplier of the Year Award recognises excellence within the vital services sector of our industry. Nominations are sought for Suppliers who have made a significant contribution to your business or the sector.

A winner will be awarded in each of these four categories:

Contract Manufacturers
Ingredients
Materials (e.g. packaging, printers, etc)
Services (e.g. insurance, freight, consultants, advertising)

Judges will choose winners based on the reasons why the company has been nominated (not the number of votes as previously).

How the judging works:

Nominators and nominees must be members of Natural Health Products NZ
Anyone from a member company can make a nomination (use the dropdown box to select your company)
Eligible suppliers (nominees) are listed on the nomination forms (dropdown boxes for each category). Eligibility requires at least 12 months membership
You can vote in multiple categories, fill out and submit a form for each category you wish to make a nomination in

IMPORTANT: Tell the judges WHY the company you’re nominating deserves to be the winner – this is critical! Judging will be based on the REASONS WHY, not the number of votes.

Members will be notified by email when nominations open.

Entries have opened for the 2026 Natural Health Products NZ Industry Awards so make sure you’re in to win.
Entering is quick and easy. Simply answer each question on the form, upload your company logo and send any supporting documents or files.

All entrants – no matter how large or small – have an equal chance of winning
All category winners will be eligible for The Natural Health Products NZ Supreme Award

Award winners will be announced at the GMP Pharmaceuticals Gala Dinner, Wednesday 27 May, Christchurch Town Hall Auditorium.

Entry Procedure:

Fill out the applicable web form/s.
Entries must be submitted by Monday 4 May 2026, 5.00pm.
Entries arriving after that will not be judged.
Please include a company logo in png or jpeg format in your submission.
If you wish to send supplementary supporting material please email it to arrive by Monday 4 May 2026, 5.00pm.

No late materials will be accepted.

Eligibility

Entrants must have been a current financial member of Natural Health Products NZ for one year or more at the time of entry and at the time of the announcement of the Award result.
The company must be GST registered.

Period of Entry

Entries will be eligible for activity up to the deadline for entries, Monday 4 May 2026, 5.00pm
The growth award is for your most recent financial year (prior to 27 April 2026) versus the previous financial year.

Judging Committee and Awards

The award Judging Committee consists of a minimum of three Natural Health Products NZ members nominated by the Executive Board and the General Manager.
Natural Health Products NZ members who enter are not eligible to serve on the Judging Committee for the award that the entry relates to. Any major sponsor for the awards may also be invited to be represented on the Judging Committee (taking the committee to 5 members).
Members of the Judging Committee may only serve four years consecutively, with one new committee member replacing an existing member every year, with the exclusion of the sitting member, the General Manager of Natural Health Products NZ, and the sponsor representative.
The Judging Committee members are subject to strict confidentiality. Every Judge is required to sign a confidentiality agreement before appointment.
The Judging Committee’s decisions are final, and no discussion will be entered into.
The Judging Committee reserves the right to make no award in each of the categories.
Announcement and presentation to the winners will be made at an awards ceremony at the GMP Pharmaceuticals Annual Gala Dinner

To be awarded to a company that has achieved exceptional results from the implementation of an outstanding marketing campaign.

Medium/Large: $2million and Over Total annual sales revenue
Small: Under $2million annual sales revenue

To be awarded to the company with the highest percentage increase in total revenue, across 3 categories:

Emerging Business: Revenue (pre-growth) under $1 million
Medium Business: Revenue (pre-growth) between $1 million – $5 million
Large Business: Revenue (pre-growth) over $5 million

To be awarded in recognition of outstanding innovation demonstrated in any facet of your business including but not limited to:

Product performance or offering;
Customer facing activities such as service, channel, brand, or customer engagement;
Business or profit models, business structure or processes
(or any combination thereof)

To be awarded to a company that has demonstrated exceptional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

This award will go to a company that has demonstrated all round Corporate Social Responsibility including contribution to employment, equal opportunities, fair or living wages, health,safety, wellness and education initiatives, contribution to local communities by philanthropy, donations or volunteering, environmental sustainability, ethical behaviour (fair trade, human rights), responsible marketing and media recognised leadership and inspiration in CSR.

This award recognises rising professionals who demonstrate exceptional promise, innovation, integrity, and impact within the natural health products sector.

Nominees should be in the early stages of their career and already contributing meaningfully to their organisation and the wider industry.
This award highlights those who not only excel in their current role but also show the potential to become future leaders, innovators, and ambassadors for the sector. Nominees will have been in the Natural Health Products sector for up to 6 years.
