The industry umbrella group that represents New Zealand’s natural products, functional foods, complementary medicines, cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals industries has announced the election of two new board members and the re-election of three board members.

Natural Health Products NZ also fare-welled board members Claire Quin and Samantha Gray.

The newly-elected Natural Health Products NZ board members are Scott Haycock Commercial Director of Keraplast Ltd, and Patricia Kitchen CEO of Alaron Products Ltd. Scott brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and business acumen with commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, working across both global multinationals and mid-sized local companies. Patricia’s career spans over 25 years, and brings deep operational and strategic experience across the consumer health, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and biologics sectors.

Mr Haycock and Ms Kitchen join the following people on the Board:

Lorraine Moser (Vitaco) – (interim Chair) re-elected
Rod Claycomb (Quantec)
Michelle Cubitt (Smart Regulatory Solutions) – re-elected
Susan Hur (GMP Pharmaceuticals)
Chris Johnson (Anagenix) – re-elected
Peter Lehrke (PharmaNZ)
Phil Rasmussen (Harvest Natural Health)

Chairperson Lorraine Moser says Mr Haycock and Ms Kitchen bring valuable commercial backgrounds to their work on the board, sharing a passion for innovation and growth.

Ms Moser also thanked Clarie Quin and Samantha Gray for their valuable service to the Board. Ms Gray stays on in her role as Government Affairs Director.
